I am a lover of soft-serve ice cream and a practitioner of patience; an easily distracted, I hate-to-clean-my-house, flip flops and tennis shoes kinda gal. I am a blog addict who has a sick addiction to cloth diapers and pointless baby gadgets. I am formerly a teacher to children with Autism who now lets that passion show in my photograpy. I am an urban-goer turned suburban-mom who loves her family and life.
I am an on-location, natural-light photographer. I capture the moments that go by too fast; the toothless smile, the dirty hands, the favorite toy, the special hug and the high five. I can be found rolling on the ground, giving tickles, singing a song or playing chase. “Cheese” is not in my vocabulary and “poses” are not my best friend. I want to develop relationships so that the pictures tell a story about your child and family.
I believe newborns look best in the nude because the wrinkly skin and itty bitty parts go by all too fast. I believe kids outfits should reflect their budding personalities. I am a lover of all things gaudy; the big bows, over-the-top hats and crazy socks.
Above all, I am a memory catcher. I preserve moments in time so that in 50 years those moments will still hold strong in your heart. The little things in life that bring you nothing but Pure Wonder.
