Today was the day where I had so much to do but yet didn’t want to do any of it. Many things coming up around here that have me on my toes.

1. Tomorrow should be the day for the special project that has been in the works. Keep your fingers crossed that it happens. Tomorrow.

2. This weekend is the Walk Now For Autism walk that I will be photographing. Autism, in and of itself, is so near and dear to my heart. But, the kiddos with autism, they mean so much to me. Their personalities present in a manner where all might not understand them. But, you delve into their worlds and your life will be forever changed. They will touch your heart in ways that you never dreamed possible. Autism is still on the rise, and the latest numbers indicate 1 in 100. Yes, read again, 1 in 100. Read the study yesterday. Yet, the amount of funding available to help find a cause/cure is minimal. That is where the walk comes in. To help raise money to fund research on autism. So, head on over and donate. Every penny really does count. Because, chances are, if you don’t already know someone affected you soon will. 1 in 100 people. That’s crazy.

3. I have a new favorite kid’s clothing store. Well, actually, I have many. Boden, Etsy, Tea, and the list goes on. Well, let me introduce you to Polarn O. Pyret. My little T will soon be sporting this in an upcoming photo(yet to be taken but soon…soon). Their stuff is so soft and so cute. I just can’t resist.

4. Speaking of Teagen, someone’s got a new trick. This is something that I am NOT ready for. This means we are 1 step closer to walking, 1 step closer to her first birthday, 1 step closer to the toddler years, 1 step closer to highschool, 1 step closer to college. Nope, I am so not ready for this.

5. I have another new favorite place. Yogurt R Rock. It’s a yogurt store but man, they have some good yogurt. The hubs and I have been frequenting at least 2 times a week for the past couple of weeks. It might just get its own space on our budget. A guilty pleasure that isn’t all that guilty, Well, except for the price. But, so worth it. So, so worth it. Eli likes it too. 6. And, lastly, don’t you just love it when other families have awesome birthday parties. I mean, you can look at 2 ways; 1. they do all the work and you get all the fun or 2. you have to be in some sort of competition to do bigger and better. I am going for #1.Â Talk about some seriously patient animals. I would have been scared for my life. Especially the poor bunny.

What I’m not going to do today is talk about how sick we are again. That would be repetitive and boring. Instead, I will tell you what we did today…

1. we watched at least 5 hours of Dora

2. we watched another 5 of Diego

3. we took my sons temperature at least 20 times

I will now add Dora and Diego to the list of shows that we will never be watching again. Ever. I will be making a trip to Target tonight to find a new mindless show for my son to watch during his countless hours laying with his pathetically sick face on the bed.

Since my camera wasn’t around to experience all of our ‘joy’ today. A little hodge podge of pictures from the past couple weeks.

The family got together this weekend for something very special. Here we are, three generations.
Someone has sticky fingers when it comes to icing on cakes…

My mom and I did another 30 second(literally) photo shoot with T.Everytime the tutu goes on, this is what I get. Sweet hubby gave me these for my birthday a couple of weeks ago.

When L told me that she wanted a rustic setting. I knew the perfect place. When the place matches the people, the results are so awesome. Location is everything. Location that fits your style, that matches who you are or what you like. Okay, maybe it’s not everything but it’s a lot. So, take a good location with two super cool people(okay, well, 2.5 as L says) and you are bound to come up with something great. Everything just aligned. The people, the sun, the clouds, the location. It just all lined up. Perfectly. Well, we could have done without the mosquitos but, for the sake of a good picture, they were overlooked.

I had so much fun with you guys tonight! I score a double whamy when I get to photograph people and talk about cloth diapers. My two favorite hobbies. I hope you enjoy your little peek for tonight! And, maybe all of our walking and tromping all over the place will put you into labor!

Did I ever mention what happened to my finger on our trip to Houston? Probably not because the whole trip was something that I would prefer to just put behind me. I pulled my back out(now, that makes me feel seriously old), smashed my finger, Teagen had 2 teeth come in and my son had projectile vomiting the whole way home. It was a long trip. But, I smashed my finger in the car door. Okay, let me rephrase that, I smashed my finger in my Expedition door. It hurt like hell. I mean, really bad. Like it still hurts today. I am just now able to type with the darn thing and all I kept thinking was ” I’m sure glad it’s not my shutter finger because that would really suck!”And really, the picture doesn’t do it justice. This was about 2 hours after I did it and it only got worse from this point. I had planned on taking many, many pictures but with all that transpired, this would be one of the only stellar pictures that I got of my baby!

Did I mention that Ryan is also a big ham for the camera? Just finishing editing these pictures and thought I would post this one!Â
So I went to pick up my little man from ‘preschool’ this afternoon. He was still sleeping when I got there and I was so glad because I had brought him a lollipop if he woke up dry. So, I woke him up and sure enough, he was dry! I congratulated him, picked him up and gave him his prize. I was about to take him to the bathroom when he peed all over me! Go figure, I sure am glad it’s Friday. The thing is though…he still got the lollipop because he did wake up dry. I will be modifying that prize for next time though. I have learned. Wake up dry and stay dry until you get to the potty!

Teagen and I went outside for a little photo shoot this morning. And, by little, I mean about 2 minutes until she face planted it in the rocks while I was trying to delete some images. All because I was too lazy to go get a new card. Â My mom-of-the-year-nomination has been revoked yet again. But, I did get a couple of cute pictures in those few minutes. And, yesterday my little man FINALLY decided that licking the dough off of the spatula isn’t so bad afterall!

I’m really not bragging, that would be ridiculous. Okay, so maybe I am bragging, just a little bit. The other day I made the most fabulous Greek meal. ever. It was amazing. My standards are pretty low because the Greek restaurants in the area are far below par. My pita bread was delicious along with the hummus and tzatzikiÂ sauce. I just had to take pictures. I have never made bread…or really anything above a PB&J before so I was pretty happy with the results! and just because I was purging my hard-drive and ran across this happy jem…
