Are you back into the swing of things yet? I’m not. It’s that simple. I love vacation. Even though I don’t have a typical 9-5 gig, I always enjoy having my hubby around during his ‘vacation’. I say ‘vacation’ because it is his end of quarter and he will be crunching numbers for the next week, until he is blue in the face. But, either way, I just love the holidays. I love the stillness of it. Having no where to go and nothing to do. Well, that’s how it is in our house. Ever since we have been married but especially since we had our children, we made a promise to each other that we would spend the holidays at our home. We would not spend it running from family to family trying to make everyone happy. So, instead, we make ourselves happy by lying around in our PJ’s all day, with nothing to do but to spend time with our babies. We don’t make a big meal and I don’t plan some elaborate ‘celebration’. It’s just us. Family time. It has been the best decision that we have ever made.

I have spent the evenings sorting through countless family pictures and trying to edit some that have been neglected. And, by some  I mean over 2000. It’s ridiculous. But, when you are a photographer, you always neglect your own pictures. This is why we always get professional pictures taken. Anyways, I found some that I love. And, yes, I know he has crumbs on his face but I just love them! I’m sure I will be back with more as I continue to go through my files!
