We finished this session right as the drizzle started to really hit. They were such sweet kids and they reminded me so much of my own. I know there is a tired mama out there who would really like to see some pictures before she heads off to bed. So, here’s a couple to hold you over and check back in a couple of days and I will be back with a much bigger peak and a contest for you!

Today I looked at my daughter and I realized that she isn’t a baby anymore. I mean, she’s kind of a baby but she’s probably considered a toddler. How my heart aches just a little to have my baby back. With toddlerhood comes this robust love for everything. She loves new toys, new parks, new people. She is very much in a ‘liking’ stage. But, with her toddlerhood also comes a cuddling phase for her. She has always been close to me but lately she will grab ahold of me and just give me the biggest hug. Then, she will lay her sweet head on my shoulder and just snuggle in. How I love these days. Speaking of things that I love…there are some things that I am totally loving these days…

1. I am loving this place. The food is just so good it keeps calling us back. So, so good. But, don’t go there if you are in a hurry. More of relaxed, enjoy your meal type of place. But the food, the food is so good. Hopefully I will be featuring them on my blog soon.

2. These are officially my favorite diaper. They are perfect for nightime. And, the wool covers are the best. The best. Hope to have them on the blog soon too.

3. It’s almost farmers market season. I love farmers markets. Apparently Cedar Park is going to have a pretty good farmers market.

4. Have you seen this website? I love this website. Love it. I have a stack of instructions for hubby to work on.

On Friday we celebrated my little man’s 3rd birthday. Much more to come on that later but for now, I am still catching my breath and realizing that my first baby is really 3.

My *older* sister called me today and asked for a ‘blog favor’. She wants a poll for all my readers out there…this applies to all those who read but never comment! So, my sister is turning 30 in May. The new 20, right?!? She wants to go out in style. Not a *huge* party or anything but rather she wants to buy/do something for herself. The problem? She has no.clue what she would do. So, she needs help and advice. What should she do? Any advice or suggestions? Come on…get those creative juices flowing and leave her some love with all your fab ideas!

I found this picture very fitting. This is from Eli’s party and I am not sure whether she is showing him that he is 3 or trying to teach him 3-0. And, don’t forget the little contest that I have going on now...read all the way to the bottom!

I’m just saying that some women would die to have eyelashes like these…

I just love, love, love babies eyelashes. They are so simple and so beautiful. Untouched by makeup or any other enhancers but rather just natural beauty.

This family now holds a special place in my heart. They are such wonderful people but even more than that, they are awesome parents.

They found me through my friends at Emerson Academy and are active in their non-profit, The Emerson Foundation. The Emerson Foundation provides early education to children with special needs. It is such a great organization with an awesome mission and a true desire to help those with special needs.

On to the session, their kids are an absolute delight. They are fun, entertaining and so beautiful. What’s the best about their kiddos? They love each other. They truly love each other. They have this sweet, special bond. I can only hope that my kiddos will grow up with the same love for each other.
