This sweet friend of mine is expecting her second and, it’s a surprise! I love it when people wait to know the sex of a baby, it really is one of the most exciting moments!

Meghann, you are beautiful on the inside and out and I hope that your know that! This pregnancy hasn’t been easy but you have done it with such grace and love. I can’t wait to meet your newest little bundle!

There is no doubt that this little girl will be loved beyond belief. I had such a good time at this session! They were so relaxed together and so in love. I could just tell that their new roles as ‘parents’ will fit them perfectly.

This little one fought a good fight but, eventually, I won.

She had the most beautiful skin color that I have ever seen on a newborn.

While baby sister was being fed, big sister and I had a great time in her room. I could have hung out with her all day. She is at such a fun age and so lively and interactive! And, she was quite the shutter bug. She’s got potential, don’t you think??

The great thing about photography is that I have been able to reconnect with so many people from my past. This little guys mama and I grew up together and boy, how our lives have changed since high school. He was so sweet and wonderful and, if she had let me, I would have taken him home with me. Don’t you think he would be a good addition? And, I’ll tell you what, as fun as it was to go to Houston for this session, I sure don’t miss the humidity and traffic! I’ll be back in the next couple of days with many more of this little guy but in the meantime, make sure to leave him some comments and tell him how cute he is!

Sweet, sweet O. He really does love me, even though he did not want to smile. But that’s okay, his eye contact sure made up for it. In reality, my favorite pictures don’t have smiles in them. It’s a matter of personal opinion really. I just love the raw emotions that are captured when smiles aren’t necesarily present. Either way, off my smile bandwagon. He melts my heart everytime. And, I would like to point out the re-occuring “one” that he is showing us…he is gearing up for the big one year in a couple of months!

I had such a good time with this family. They had just gotten their first dSLR camera and I always love talking to people and giving advice on how to properly use your camer. You know, you just point and shoot…right?!?!?! In the midst of having a baby, they have also managed to put their house on the market and get an offer. Seriously, that’s not stressful?!?! Things around here have been uber busy but I know some have been patiently awaiting a little sneak. Thanks for letting me capture these precious, fleeting moments!! And, this is my classic ” sure, we can try it” picture. I will always *try* to take pictures of babies with pets but, honestly, it is so hard and many times, it just doesn’t work. But, this time it did!! I love this picture!!

This sweet family drove in from Kileen with their 8 day old little bundle of joy. What an honor. He was a sweet little guy that peed on me within the first 30 seconds of holding him…personal record!
